Skyview + C's Birthday

This past weekend is definitely one that will be engraved in my brain.
1) I personally don't like Atlanta, it's not my favorite place.
2) It's got some great places, but not ones I'd go to every weekend.
and 3) Midtown smells awful! like you wouldn't believe..

That's besides the point of this post.

This past Thursday was C's Birthday, and of course I had to go all out!
First we started at 6th street pier with dinner and drinks with close friends, nothing big just small.
The five of us, shout out to our waitress who put up with us!

I got C a book about Modern cars, which he loved!
Then we proceed to have coffee at the local starbucks, where we sat for about 3 hours talking about how we're all connected (like we all know the same people and were mutual friends back in the day) someway somehow.. It got a little creepy at times.

Friday, was slow and ugly out. got my coworkers some coffee and everything was kicked into high gear after that!
Closed the store on a high note and couldn't wait for the next day!

Saturday

I went to go see an old friend of mine, I hadn't seen her in years!
and you have no idea how excited we were to see one another!
let just say the photo below doesn't do it justice.
I have missed this lady so much, you guys wouldn't believe it!
on top of that, she's a fantastic artist! Her sketches are amazing, beautiful and so real!
I'll find a link to her site/Facebook page!

Then around 1pm we made our way to the city of Atlanta!
Let's just say it was an entertaining car ride, we all wanted to kill each other at some point.
As soon as we got to Skyview, all was well!

Just a few photos from this beautiful ride we had.

This is one of my most favorite views, you can literally see everything and more.

These were just a few of the photos we took while on Skyview.
It was an awesome experience!

 Us outside of skyview!

Go All The Way!

I have absolutely no idea how to explain this past weekend..I took C to the Dream Cars exhibit  at the High Museum of Art  as an early birthday present. Here is the only way I know how to explain -share photos, Hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them!

This is only a few of what we saw, every single one was unique in it's own way.
On top of that, some were from the 1930's, these engineers were so ahead of their time- so amazing to see! Image Map

My Grandmother's Sunday dinners

In honor of Grandparents Day this past sunday (yesterday), I'm sharing a few things I learned from my grandmother.
1. Always be a lady.
2. Be different,  be artistic,  be an individual,  be you.
3. Let it go. Basically,  let shit go.
4. Relax a little.
5. Nobody cares if you have feet the size of boats, you can always find shoes to fit them!
6. Don't let your siblings push you around.  (She had 5)
7. Cooking, cook often.  Baking, chocolate chip cookies!  She always had me make those around Christmas time!
8. Be happy-go-lucky.
9. Enjoy life.
10. She was my best friend.
She was my best friend, my confidant,  my mentor,  my grandmother. I can't tell you how many times we would laugh, cry, and just enjoy each others company.

I'm glad I could learn such useful things from her, she made my life better in so many ways. I wish she was still here to see how far I've come, from being that dorky little girl to the woman I am today. I believe she would be proud of me, in some of my moments- not all. :)

Cherish those moments you have with your grandparents, you never know when they could end.

 Remember, Stay happy&Classy!

My goal

I was sent a link for ideas of what to post, I've been having a problem with what to write and how to write it.  So this is 1 of my 30 posts this month! Let's hope I can stick to it!

My goal this month,  is to start building my credit. Yes I'm 25 and still have absolutely no credit, but I have no reason to own a credit card.  I'm not making tons of money,  I'm not a millionaire,  so there was no reason as to why I should have a credit card.

I'm going to start with a CD (Certificate of deposit) this seems to be the easiest way to get it going, it also accrues interest!  Which is even better! So once its all paid off, I can
A: keep that loan I can roll it over every month. Or B: take the money out and spend it. I think I'll go with A,  just so my credit report will look fantastic!

I hope my credit grows and looks 100% amazing after all this.

What's your goal for this month? Tell me in the comments section!
